Charli unveiled her track with the PC Music producer during her guest show on Beats1 Radio
Charli XCX has revealed a new track titled ‘Vroom Vroom’, a collaboration with emerging UK producer SOPHIE.
Charli XCX gave the track its first play during her spot as a guest presenter on Beats1 Radio tonight (Oct 20).
Sophie, an affiliate of the PC Music label, previewed the collaboration during a DJ set in March. Charli then posted a short clip of the set on Twitter, writing: “XCX X @SOPHIEMSMSMSM FUTURE/SOON”.
The track has now been given its first full play six months later, with Charli promising it will appear on her new album.

Charli XCX recently compared her new album to Paris Hilton’s music and revealed that she is writing for Rihanna.
“I’ve been really inspired by Paris Hilton, small dogs and a glitter, luxe lifestyle,” she told The Mirror. “I’ve never met Paris before, but we were both at the amFAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival this year. I was performing and I saw her singing along to my song and I freaked out. I’m such a fan and one of my favourite songs ever is ‘Stars Are Blind’ – it’s pop genius.”
“I’m a really big Rihanna fan and I think she’s such an incredible artist,” she continued. “She’s my favourite pop girl. She’s the real deal. I’ve actually been to a couple of writing sessions for Rihanna’s new record. It was really fun to put together a couple of tracks.”
