Charli takes on 'Don't Delete The Kisses'

Charli XCX has remixed Wolf Alice‘s ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’. Scroll below to listen.

Charli has taken on the London band’s ‘Visions of a Life’ highlight, which premiered during Matt Wilkinson’s Beats 1 radio show today (January 3). She’s given it an autotuned, electro-pop twist. Charli had previously covered the song live last month (December).

Wolf Alice singer Ellie Rowsell spoke on Beats 1 about the team-up, saying of Charli: “I just love her balls out pop music, she’s a great performer and there’s always this kind of excitement and thrill surrounding her. She puts fun into everything she does.”

Rowsell added: “She’s wrote some massive bangers and I like that she’s putting out like mixtapes and stuff and not always playing by the guidebook.”

Charli released a new mixtape called ‘Pop 2‘ last month (December 15). The record featured a host of guest stars, including Carly Rae Jepsen, MØ, Alma, Tove Lo, Mykki Blanco, Brooke Candy, Caroline Polachek, Cupcakke, and more.

The release followed her first mixtape of 2017, ‘Number 1 Angel‘, which was released in March. Speaking at the NME Awards last year, Charli said that mixtape was “essentially” an album.

“It’s just songs that me and AG Cook made in two weeks in LA when I was, like, feeling really depressed,” she explained. “It’s 10 whole new songs basically. It’s [being called] a mixtape so it can go out for free, but it’s essentially an album, a whole new album.”

Meanwhile, Charli XCX is the latest star to feature in LOVE’s annual advent video series. Watch it here.

The fashion magazine has been posting short videos since December 1, 2017 featuring stars such as Karlie Kloss, Ashley Graham, Rita Ora, and Kendall Jenner. The theme of the videos is #StayStrong.

In Charli’s clip, she can be seen dancing to her 2017 single ‘Boys’. The video was directed by Rankin. The video ends with a quote from the singer, which reads: “The LOVE advent has always been badass and inspiring. Women are strong, female sexuality is strong, and I’m super happy to have been invited to be a part of this #LOVEAdvent.”
