Ex-Ash guitarist names new album

And readies limited EP

Former Ash guitarist Charlotte Hatherley has named the follow up to her 2004 debut album.

Entitled ‘The Deep Blue’, the singer’s new LP is due to be released on March 5, 2007 through her own record label Little Sister Records.

Before that Hatherley will unleash a special four-track EP in digital and 7″ format on December 17.

The EP will give fans an early taste of what to expect from her second solo album in the form of new single ‘Behave’.

It will also feature two new songs including ‘Mr Ed’, ‘Cousteau’ and a remix of her single.

The singer is also preparing a UK tour next February to coincide with the release of her second single ‘I Want You To Know’.

The follow up to ‘Grey Will Fade’ was written and recorded in Italy over summer with Frank Black producer Eric Drew Feldman and PJ Harvey cohort Rob Ellis. It has been mixed by Blur producer Ben Hillier.
