Snippets of 'With Ur Love’, 'Dub On The Track', 'Superhero' and 'Over The Moon' also get an airing

Cher Lloyd has previewed a selection of tracks from her forthcoming debut album with an online listening party.

The singer, who rose to fame on last year’s series of The X Factor, was only placed fourth in the overall competition, but still gained a record contract. The fruits of this will be released later in the year. Lloyd previewed songs from the album yesterday (July 28) on Ustream, including her collaboration with Busta Rhymes, ‘Grow Up’.

Lloyd revealed that the pair didn’t actually meet to make the song, saying:

But he got played the track and really liked it and being Busta it didn’t take him long to just jump on it.

About the track’s dancehall inspiration, she said: “Obviously I didn’t go full out on the whole dancehall thing, I could have been a lot more crazy.”

She also previewed ‘With Ur Love’, ‘Dub On The Track’, ‘Superhero’ and ‘Over The Moon’ during the half hour live streamed video interview.

Cher Lloyd‘s debut, Miami-recorded single ‘Swagger Jagger’ is released on Sunday (July 31). Watch the video below:
