The quartet's debut LP 'Lacuna' was released this week

Childhood have premiered the video for their forthcoming single ‘As I Am’ – scroll down to watch.

The video features singer Ben Romans-Hopcraft in West Norwood Park, creating “an absurd piece of conceptual art” while text instructions at the top of the screen describe different elements of the scene.

The track is taken from the London quartet’s debut album ‘Lacuna’, which was released via House Anxiety/ Marathon Artists on Monday (August 11).

Childhood were also recently announced as support for Johnny Marr‘s forthcoming autumn tour, where they will join the former Smiths man for thirteen dates across the UK during October. This will follow on from the band’s own headline tour, which sees them take in six shows earlier that month.
