Singer reportedly punched a man in the face outside a hotel in Washington D.C
Chris Brown is currently in custody after allegedly assaulting a man in Washington D.C this morning (October 28).
According to TMZ, the singer got into an argument with a man outside the W Hotel in the US city in the early hours and punched him once in the face. Sources told the US gossip website that the man never retaliated.
Brown was with his bodyguard at the time, who has also been arrested. He had earlier been hosting a party in a city nightclub, although police said he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol on arrest. The alleged victim is reportedly in hospital in the US capital, receiving treatment for his injury.
The ‘Put It Down’ singer is currently still on probation for attacking Rihanna, and violating the terms of the order could result in him being sent to prison for up to four years. It is currently unclear whether the victim of the alleged assault will press charges.
Earlier this year, Brown said that his forthcoming album, ‘X’, due for release sometime before 2013 is up, is likely to be his last. The singer took to Twitter to tell fans the news, writing: “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.”
