Taking to the stage to a string-quartet version of ‘Black Hole Sun’, he launched straight into ‘Part Of Me’, from the recent Timbaland-prouduced solo album ‘Scream’.
The biggest cheer of the set, however, came on the well-known Audioslave song ‘Cochise’.
For closer ‘Black Hole Sun’, from the 1994 Soundgarden album ‘Superunknown’, Cornell climbed down from the stage and walked alongside the barrier, singing and shaking hands.
He introduced the song by saying: “This one is dedicated to those who come here to have a good time, not the cunts, but those who just want a good time.”
Chris Cornell played:
‘Part Of Me’
‘Let Me Drown’
‘Show Me How To Live’
‘No Such Thing’
‘Set It Off’
‘Black Hole Sun’
