The reclusive star lays down some beats on BBC Radio 1's 'Breezeblock' programme...
Maverick comedian and satirist CHRIS MORRIS is set to make a rare appearance on MARY ANNE HOBBS’ ‘BREEZEBLOCK’ show on BBC RADIO 1 next week.
Morris, who has made his name through controversial cult TV shows ‘Brass Eye’ and ‘Jam’, as well as radio show ‘Blue Jam’, will make an exclusive mix of music and dialogue for the show on July 2 with broadcast starting at midnight.
The radio appearance comes ahead of, ‘Trombone’, a one-off Morris television show set to begin a run on Channel 4 from July 5, followed by a repeat showing of his controversial 1997 show ‘Brasseye’. So little is known about ‘Trombone’ that news of it appearing at all is a surprise. Morris traditionally only delivers his tapes for broadcast at most one hour before transmission time.
