The pair spent several days at New York’s Electric Lady Studios last month putting down the track, which is produced by the Crucial Keys team of Alicia Keys and her partner, Kerry Brothers.

According to MTV.com, Aguilera said: “I like the piano,” when she heard the slow, chord-driven track Alicia Keys devised to complement her big voice. “Now I gotta learn how to play. You inspire [me].”

Alicia Keys returned the compliment. “I like them vocals,” she said. “We’re smashing. Official killer. ‘Killer Chris!’ “

Alicia Keys and Aguilerahave been planning to work together for a while. Alicia Keys wrote the new song, but not before the Grammy Award-winners had a chance to get to know each other while hanging out and partying before Alicia Keys penned the track.

Aguilera‘s album is expected in September. Although she has had a Spanish album, a Christmas album and took part in the ‘Lady Marmalade’ song for ‘Moulin Rouge!’, the new album is considered the follow-up to her 1999 platinum self-titled record.
