Chvrches announce US tour dates in support of ‘Love Is Dead’

The band will head Stateside this summer

Chvrches have announced a series of North American tour dates in support of new album ‘Love Is Dead‘.

The upcoming record, which will be the Glaswegian trio’s third, is due for release on May 25. They’ve already shared four tracks from it, including ‘My Enemy‘, which features The National‘s Matt Berninger.

The band will begin the series of headline dates in Denver on August 6, continuing through until October 20, where the run concludes in Boston. They will also appear at a handful of US festivals, including New York’s Governors Ball and Chicago’s Lollapalooza.

Tickets for the shows will go on sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 27). More details can be found on Chvrches’ website.

The band’s third record explores “coming to terms with the fact that there are great things in the world and there are awful things in the world and that you can’t get one without the other,” according to frontwoman Lauren Mayberry.
