Brakes to headline Club NME LA

Brighton's Electric Soft Parade also join the bill

Brakes (officially known as BrakesBrakesBrakes in the US due to another band also having the name) are set to headline Club NME Los Angeles with Fred Perry Subculture tomorrow night (May 30).

The Brighton-based band featuring brothers Alex and Tom White of Electric Soft Parade and Eamon Hamilton, formerly of British Sea Power, will bring their pop-punk to Club NME-goers.

The White brothers will be on double duty tomorrow, also performing a set as the Electric Soft Parade as well.

Also on the bill are Brooklyn-based indie rockers Pela.

Resident DJ Dia and surprise guest DJs will spin a mix of rock, electronica, punk and hip-hop before and after the set.

Club NME with Fred Perry takes place at Spaceland in the Silver Lake neighbourhood of Los Angeles every Wednesday night.

Next Wednesday (June 6), Flash Hawk Parlor Ensemble featuring Chris Funk and Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists are set to headline Club NME LA with Fred Perry Subculture.
