Stars come out for The Cribs at Coachella

The Cribs gave the Coachella Festival a taste of their hotly-tipped new album today (April 28).

In anticipation of third album ‘Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever’, the band played five new songs during their lunchtime set on the Mojave Stage.

The trio included ‘I’m A Realist’, ‘Girls Like Mystery’, ‘Moving Pictures’, ‘Men’s Needs’ and ‘Ancient History’ in their set.

The Wakefield brothers also proved a hit on the celebrity circuit, with Klaxons, Kelly Osbourne, The Like, Har Mar Superstar and presenter Alexa Chung all watching from the side of the stage.

Meanwhile the group admitted they had arrived early at the festival to cacth last night’s (April 27) set from Sonic Youth, after the veterans bandmember Lee Ronaldo had mades a spoken word appearance on The Cribs‘ forthcoming album track ‘Be Safe’.
