That's after they've performed a UK tour which is getting longer and longer because so many people want to see them...
COLDPLAY have added an extra MANCHESTER show to their April UK tour and have started demoing material for their second album.
The band have added a second date to their mini-UK jaunt at the Manchester Apollo on April 27 after their previously announced date the previous night (April 26) sold out. Tickets for the extra show are on sale now.
A spokesperson for Coldplay told NME.COM that the band have started writing material which is likely to feature on their forthcoming second album.
One new track, ‘In My Place’, has been a regular live favourite since the end of last year, and was played again Monday night (January 22) at the group’s first indoor Australian show at the Sydney Metro nightclub.
The show attracted a stellar line-up of celebrities, including PJ Harvey, At The Drive-In and members of the Black Eyed Peas. The set was concluded by singer Chris Martin covering Burt Bacharach’s classic ‘What The World Needs Now Is Love’ solo on the piano.
