YELLOW! YELLOW! ITS GOOD TO BE BACK

Last year's big breakthrough stars move up to bigger venues...

COLDPLAY have announced four dates in April, to coincide with the release of a new single from their acclaimed debut album ‘PARACHUTES’.

While details of the single are yet to be confirmed, NME.COM can reveal that the band will appear live at:

Aberdeen Music Hall (April 23)

Edinburgh Corn Exchange (24)

Manchester Apollo (26)

Brixton Academy (29)

As reported on NME.COM last night (January 15), Coldplayhave been nominated for three Brit Awards, including ‘Best Album’, ‘Best British Group’ and ‘Best Indie Newcomer’ award.

NME.COM recently spoke to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin on his chances of winning a Brit and he said: “No, it’s not for us. But it’s so weird because you look at other bands and think they live in band land where everything is glamour and glitz. It’s not like that for us but of course every other band is just like us, everyone’s just chancers.”

The Brit Awards ceremony will take place on February 26 at Earl’s Court, London.
