Hardcore veterans' eighth studio album will be released in October when they will also tour the UK
Converge have announced full details of their new studio album ‘All We Love We Leave Behind’.
The album is the hardcore band’s eighth full-length effort of their career to date and is their first since 2009’s ‘Axe To Fall’.
‘All We Love We Leave Behind’ will be preceded by a single ‘Aimless Arrow’, which you can hear at the top of the page. It has been produced by the band’s guitarist Kurt Ballou at his Godcity Studios in Salem, Massachusetts.
Speaking about the record, Ballou said: “There’s no artificial distortion, triggers, or Auto-Tune on this album. It’s all organic, it’s real sounds that capture the way the band performs live.”
Singer Jacob Bannon, who has also designed the album’s artwork, added: “I think we really stepped up our game on this record. The most important thing to this band is that with every album we want to create something that excites us and moves us in some way. There are a lot of subtle nuances on this record are really special to us and we definitely hit those individually on this record.”
