Courtney Love reveals new song ‘Miss Narcissist’ – listen

Song has featured in Love's live set as she supports Lana Del Rey on tour

Courtney Love has revealed new single ‘Miss Narcissist’.

The song was released today via Ghost Ramp, the label run by Wavves’ Nathan Williams, and is available digitally. It will be released physically this summer with B-Side ‘Radio Killer’.

In an interview with EW earlier this year Love, who is currently on tour in the US with Lana Del Rey, stated that she is “not really interested” in making music at the moment.

Love has spent much of 2015 focused on film and TV projects, including Kurt Cobain documentary Cobain: Montage of Heck. At the Tribeca Film Festival in April 17 she said that the film’s director Brett Morgen discovered a sex tape shot by her and the Nirvana frontman.

Love resumed her acting career last year (2014) with a four-episode guest role on US drama Sons Of Anarchy. This year she has been seen as blues singer Elle Dallas in hit US hip-hop drama series Empire and as a socialite called White Gold in another US TV drama, Revenge.

She previously enjoyed a promising acting career in the late ’90s, earning a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in 1996’s The People Vs Larry Flynt (pictured right) and co-starring opposite Jim Carrey in 1999’s Man On The Moon.
