COURTNEY PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO DRUG CHARGES

The star appears in court in LA...

COURTNEY LOVE pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of drug possession yesterday (November 12) in LA.

Courtney Love arrived at the Beverly Hills Court House shortly before noon with dog and carrying a bouquet of red roses, as dozens of television cameras and press representatives swarmed the singer.

Dressed in an off the shoulder purple shirt, black pants and clutching a brown suede purse, Love entered the Division One court of Judge Elden S Fox.

In court Love joined lawyer William Genego and entered her plea. Opposing counsels met to set a date for the preliminary hearing.

Love will return to court December 11 for a preliminary hearing. Before that happens though the Judge requested Love contact the Santa Monica Probation Department who will determine if she is eligible for Diversion, a program which would put her on probation for two years, require drug counseling and administrative fees.
