Following the release Courtney Love will tour the UK, playing nine dates, starting with two shows at London Shepherd’s Bush Empire on May 11-12, finishing at Newcastle Riverside on May 22. Speaking about the tour, she said: “I feel most at home in the UK and can’t wait to catch up on TOWIE and play in my second and hopefully, inevitably my first home. I grew up half a British citizen and I just miss it. I can’t wait to play for my Brits.”

Courtney Love also recently said that people “expect a lot more from me” than from Queens Of The Stone Age. Speaking to The Quietus, the former Hole frontwoman discussed her writing process, commenting: “Well, you sit and you write like, Queens Of The Stone Age drudge for a month, and it’s just not happening, and it’s not happening – not that Queens Of The Stone Age suck, but people expect a lot more from me.”

She added that people have set a “higher bar” for her when it comes to songwriting. “Josh Homme can play, like, four notes on his bass and people take off their tops, but I have a higher bar for whatever reason. It has to be just fucking really really good,” she explained.
