Meanwhile, Craig David recently covered Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’ on BBC 1Xtra.

David appeared in the Live Lounge as part of Trevor Nelson’s show and performed an acoustic version of his single ‘When The Bassline Drops’ alongside Big Narstie as well as the ‘Love Yourself’ cover.

‘Love Yourself’ features on Justin Bieber’s album ‘Purpose’ and was co-written by Ed Sheeran.

This is not the first time Craig David has jumped on a Justin Bieber track. In 2015 he performed a new version of his single ‘Fill Me In’ set to Bieber and Jack Ü hit ‘Where Are Ü Now’.

David’s career underwent a revival in 2015, including a performance at Bestival in September and joining Major Lazer onstage at a gig in London in October. David also made a surprise appearance on the final of The X Factor, performing his breakthrough single ‘Re-Rewind’ during a medley with Reggie ‘N’ Bollie and Fuse ODG.

He is expected to release new album ‘Following My Intuition’ in 2016, his first since ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ in 2010.
