The band begin work on the follow up to 'Stoned Raiders' shortly...

Cypress Hill hope to recruit SNOOP DOGG and Busta Rhymes

to guest on their new album.

The rap collective are planning on writing and recording the follow-up to ‘Stoned Raiders’ over the next few months, an album which will see a return to the band’s “darker edge”, according to B-Real

He told MTV: “We’re trying to take it back to maybe a darker edge for this next record, maybe like ‘Temple of Boom’, something on that kind of flavour.

“There’s a lot of dudes that I could definitely get down with. [a][/a]

has always been one of my favourites, and definitely Snoop Dogg, it would be good to get on a track with him again. I did a track with him a long time ago for a remix for MC Eiht or something like that. And it was pretty hot, but I think if we did another one from scratch, it’d be a lot better.”

The album has a tentative release date of next year.
