Daft Punk reveal new merchandise including limited edition skateboard

The ‘artisanal skateboard’ sits alongside new T-shirts, stickers, slipmats and more from the duo

Daft Punk have revealed their new line of merchandise including an official branded skateboard.

The duo have presented new T-shirts, stickers, tote bags, belt buckles, slipmats and more on their website. The Daft Punk skateboard is the lead item, at a price of $280 (£179).

A description of the skateboard reads: “These artisanal skateboard decks are handmade in France of molded beechwood by Hervet-Manufacturier. The board is clad with Formica laminate on both sides. The top face is laser engraved with a “grip effect” repeated logo pattern. The bottom is a 2 color inlayed logo. Limited to a series of 25 units per colorway with a laser etched edition number.”

Daft Punk recently featured in a new documentary about Nile Rodgers. Titled Nile Rodgers: From Disco To Daft Punk, the documentary comes as the funk musician prepares the release of the forthcoming new Chic album. Daft Punk appear, helmet-clad, typing up a message for Rodgers to the strains of Carly Simon’s ‘Why’.

Rodgers co-wrote and performed on three songs off Daft Punk’s 2013 album ‘Random Access Memories’, including the massive worldwide hit ‘Get Lucky’.
