'Mothership Reconnection' gets the French disco treatment

Daft Punk have remixed Scott Grooves‘Mothership Reconnection feat. Parliament Funkadelic, the track originally appeared on Glasgow label Soma Records in November 1998.

The original song by Detroit producer Scott Grooves used a Parliament Funkadelic live performance of ‘Mothership Connection’ and was endorsed by George Clinton.

Daft Punk meanwhile are working on their follow-up to their massive debut ‘Homework’ – in the meantime they will shortly be releasing a DVD entitled ‘D.A.F.T. DVD’ which includes all the Daft Punk videos, a making of, an exclusive video directed by the band for the track “fresh” and a live sequence shot in L.A in 1997.
