The Strokes apparently booked themselves to stay into a Scottish castle ahead of their headline slot at RockNess last night (June 13). The band reportedly slept in four poster beds, had their own chef and servants at the luxury Aldourie Castle. Meanwhile Crystal Castles apparently banned the BBC from broadcasting their show online after singer Alice Glass got caught in a scuffle with the crowd. An source claimed: “They banned us from using the footage then asked if they could have a copy because they thought the show was the most punk thing ever” (Daily Record).

Florence And The Machine frontwoman Florence Welch was reportedly left in tears after being groped while crowd surfing at a concert at the University Of Leeds. Security staff apparently had to rush into the audience when the flame haired singer screamed for help. University spokesman Tom Salmon said: “We have not been able to determine whether contact was deliberate as she was passed over people’s heads”(The Daily Star).

Ozzy Osbourne is apparently volunteering to have a £27,000 test to determine how he has managed to survive a life of excess. The Black Sabbath frontman has reportedly agreed to allow a US company to map his genetic code. Scientists hope to discover how he managed to punish his body for so long and live (The Sun).

Dizzee Rascal has admitted that he wanted to kill the people that stabbed him in Ayia Napa seven years ago. The rapper, who went to Number One with his and comedian James Corden‘s cover of Tears For Fears‘ 1985 hit ‘Shout’ yesterday (June 13), said he felt “depressed and homicidal” following the incident. He added: “I was so sick and so ill. I didn’t really know what was going on. It was shit, shit the fact someone could do that to you and get away with it” (The Sun).

The Spice Girls‘ singer Mel C has reportedly said the band will never reform again: “There’s no chance of that happening. We all have our own projects going on and have families too so we couldn’t find the time even if we wanted to,” she admitted (The Daily Star).
