Jedward have been dropped by record company Sony after just one single. The poor performance of last month’s debut single ‘Under Pressure’ led to the decision. The X Factor losers, twins Edward and John Grimes, were beaten to the chart top spot by Owl City. Now, manager (and X Factor judge) Louis Walsh has confirmed the duo have been dropped. “I’m completely committed to Jedward and I know they still have a great career ahead,” he insisted. Walsh added that he’s “in talks with a major record label” about a new deal for the duo (The Sun).
