Russell Brand and Carl Barat have formed a band together for his new film ‘Get Him To The Greek’. Called Infant Sorrow, the outfit previously just featured Brand, but Barat – who has written songs for the film’s soundtrack – has now been drafted in to back up the comic, alongside actor Jonah Hill, who also stars in the movie. The trio play their first gig tonight (May 24) at Hollywood venue The Roxy (The Sun).

Dizzee Rascal is set to step in to replace U2 at Glastonbury according to reports, should Bono’s back injury force the Irish band to pull their headline appearance. Though nothing official has been confirmed by organisers, sources say both the rapper (who is currently second top on the bill) and Coldplay‘s Chris Martin have been approached about playing the festival in place of U2 (The Sun).

Boyzone‘s Ronan Keating fought back tears during several promotional appearances in Zurich at the weekend, as he prepares to head back to Dublin today (May 24) for crisis talks with his wife Yvonne following revelations he had been unfaithful (various).

Florence And The Machine played football backstage with Dizzee Rascal and MGMT at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Bangor, Wales (Daily Mirror).

Courtney Love has been dumped by her secret lover Andre Balazs, allegedly because he found her embarrassing (The Sun).

Alicia Keys says she wants to work with MIA, Kings Of Leon, Prince and U2 (Daily Record).
