Keane have declared themselves the new Pink Floyd, after becoming the first band to play a 3D concert over the internet. Singer Tom Chaplin, who was pictured wearing cardboard 3D glasses before the gig last night (April 2), said “I like getting in people’s faces, so doing it in 3D suits what we do. We’re the new Pink Floyd!” Drummer Richard Hughes also revealed that he threw a drumstick at one of the cameras during the performance to enhance the visuals. However, he accidentally hit the cameraman in the process (Daily Star).
