Tom Cruise and Liam Gallagher apparently almost came to blows in a German hotel at the weekend after bumping into each other in the corridor.

The meeting got off to an awkward start, claims an insider, when Cruise called Gallagher up on his comments about the actor in Oasis‘Lord Don’t Slow Me Down’ film (where the singer called Cruise a “small bastard” and said he couldn’t stand him).

The potential crisis was averted when Gallagher admitted that, actually, he “really likes” Cruise in ‘Cocktail’ (Daily Star).
