Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.
Today’s top gossip:
Mark Ronson has apparently admitted that he has difficulty understanding a word The View‘s Kyle Falconer says. The producer, who recruited the Dundee singer for single ‘The Bike Song’, said: “Even other people from Dundee can’t understand him” (Daily Star).
From the papers:
Kasabian frontman Tom Meigham took a jovial dig at Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock after the singer’s team Leicester City lost 0-2 to the west London side at the weekend. He said: “QPR are a bit flash now aren’t they? I mean we all know Neil Warnock shaves his legs,” (The Sun).
George Michael is reportedly spending most of his time in prison playing pool. The singer has taken up the pub sport ever since he was moved from Pentonville in north London on Friday (September 17) to Highpoint Prison in Suffolk. “He’s been playing and mixing very well with people,” said one source. Michael is serving an eight-week sentence after crashing his car under the influence of drugs (The Sun).
Robbie Williams has been shot balancing his pet pooches on his head. The pictures feature in his new book ‘You Know Me’, which is out today (September 20) (Various).
Cheryl Cole‘s return to The X Factor reportedly got off to a bad start at the weekend when she started filming the show only to find she was sent to a noisy building site. The singer, who missed the early part of the show after catching malaria, was shooting her judges’ houses segment of the reality programme. The noise was apparently so bad that she couldn’t hear her contestants sing (Daily Star).
