Doves have beaten Oasis in the race to write a song for football club Manchester City. The band have recorded a version of club song ‘Blue Moon’ which is set to be played before tonight’s (March 4) home match against Aston Villa.
Frontman Jimi Goodwin admitted they weren’t as famous at City as the Gallaghers yet, though. “”I’ll occasionally hear, ‘All right, Jimi?”, but it’s not like Noel and Liam when they go to a game,” he said (The Sun).
