Kasabian, Ladyhawke, Amy Winehouse – your music gossip stop
Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out who in the world of music has been up to what.
Today’s top gossip:
Boyzone singer Ronan Keating has revealed that the squeaky clean boyband’s hellraising antics caused hoteliers across the UK to fear hosting them. The singer even claims that at one point in the ’90s, “half the hotels in London” had banned the group.
“We were trashing hotel rooms,” he explained. “And Keith Duffy and I went through a phase of sitting up all night drinking, then picking fights with people. We even went to a TV studio in Germany to promote a single and wrecked the place.” In retrospect, Keating says he is regretful about his behaviour. “Looking back now, I’ve no idea what we were thinking of” (Daily Star).
From the papers:
The Rifles quit their tour of Italy this week after drummer Grant Marsh was accused by a promoter of flirting with his wife. “We thought it was best to get out of there,” singer Luke Crowther said (The Sun).
Agyness Deyn is apparently obsessed with Welsh rockers Raygun (Daily Mirror).
