Janet Jackson's wardrobe malfunction, Adele's coffee ban – your music gossip stop

Welcome to the Daily Gossip: your daily stop-off to find out what the stars of the music world have been up to in the tabloids and beyond, with the help of plenty of “anonymous sources”.

Today’s top gossip:

The Script frontman Danny O’Donoghue has bizarrely laid into Jarvis Cocker and Pulp, saying the band have only reformed for the money.

Both bands are set to play T In The Park this year, with O’Donoghue launching the attack as line-up details were announced today (February 22).

“I am not a Pulp fan,” he declared. “‘Jarvis Cocky‘. I’m not into him at all. I don’t like his style. I don’t like his music. I won’t be steering clear of him, but he should be steering clear of me.”

O’Donoghue added that he’s sure Pulp have merely reformed to “make their money and go home,” highlighting “the audacity of Jarvis Cocker to think he is important enough for people to give a damn what he thinks” (Daily Record).

From the papers and beyond:

Ooh er etc, Janet Jackson almost suffered another ‘wardrobe malfunction’ as she squeezed into a PVC catsuit for a gig in Taiwan (various).

Adele has been slapped with a coffee ban from her management, we read – because she’s recovering from a bout of laryngitis (Daily Star).

In possibly the strangest gig line-up of the year, Dion Dublin supported Ocean Colour Scene at East Anglia University last night (February 21). The ex-footballer was testing out his percussion device the Dube with his band The Establishment (The Sun).

Lucky Justin Bieber – we see he got to hang out with Jay-Z, Beyonce and Rihanna at the NBA All Star basketball game in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 20) (various).

Foals, Egyptian Hip Hop and Mystery Jets all hung out at Warpaint‘s Shockwaves NME Awards Show at London‘s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire last night (February 21).
