The Foo Fighters frontman said he told his wife he would "steal the fucking show" at the CMAs
Speaking to Access Hollywood at the Napa Valley Film Festival, he commented of his appearance: “I actually told my wife before I went there, I’m like ‘hey babe, I’m gonna go to the CMAs, I’m gonna steal the fucking show’.”
Grohl also spoke about working and recording with Paul McCartney whilst making his documentary Sound City. “After a couple of minutes, it dawned on me that this is the first time that Pat [Smear] and Krist [Novoselic] and I have written a song since Kurt [Cobain] died and Paul was there too,” he commented. “So it was one of the most magical experiences of my life. There’s the birth of my children, there’s my wedding, some beautiful moments in my life, but can you fucking imagine?”
