David Bowie film set for musical?

Rumours circulate over The Man Who Fell to Earth adaptation

David Bowie has reportedly given the go-ahead for a musical based around his hits.

Director Peter Schaufuss is believed to have been given the singer’s backing for a version of Bowie‘s cult sci-fi film ‘The Man Who Fell To Earth’.

The production will weave the singer’s hits based around the storyline of the 1976 flick.

Schaufuss plans to launch the musical in his native Denmark this autumn, reports The Sun.

Abba‘s ‘Mamma Mia’, Madness‘Our House’ and Queen‘s ‘We Will Rock You’ have already proven to be big hits in London‘s West End.
