Talking Heads’ David Byrne announces European tour

The shows will focus on his work with Brian Eno

Talking Heads frontman David Byrne will head out on a European tour in 2009 – featuring songs composed by himself and famous collaborator Brian Eno.

The shows, dubbed ‘Songs Of David Byrne And Brian Eno’, will see Byrne play songs from the ‘Everything That Happens Will Happen Today’ album – his first co-writing collaboration with former Talking Heads-producer Eno in 27 years.

Although Eno won’t be appearing onstage, Byrne is expected to play songs covering his and Eno‘s artistic relationship, which includes Talking Heads material and 1981’s ‘My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts’ album.
