Family illness is cited as the reason...

DAVID GRAY has postponed his European tour due to family illness.

The dates were due to kick off at Madrid Caracol on February 28, and wind up in Paris on March 8.

However, a spokesperson emphasised that the dates will be rescheduled, and told NME.COM that his US tour is not in jeopardy.

“David Gray’s European tour will be rescheduled and we are working on that right now. Watch this space for further details.”

It is anticipated that the revised dates will be announced soon, and that original tickets should still be valid.

His album ‘White Ladder’, currently in the Billboard Top 50, has just gone platinum in the States (One Million sales) and anticipation for the tour is high, with tickets for the 6,500-capacity New York Radio City Music Hall selling out within one hour when they went on sale last week.
