Deap Vally replace Jagwar Ma for NME Radar show at The Great Escape

Duo step in for Australian band this Saturday (May 18)

Deap Vally have replaced Jagwar Ma on the line-up for NME Radar’s showcase at The Great Escape this Saturday (May 18).

The Australian band will no longer be performing at The Haunt due to sickness, so Deap Vally are stepping in to replace them ahead of the release of their debut album ‘Sistrionix’ in June. They now feature on a bill that also includes US band Parquet Courts plus The Orwells and Highasakite.

The full line-up and venue details for the Brighton festival can be seen below with Charlie Boyer and The Voyeurs headlining the NME Radar show on May 16 at The Haunt on a bill that also includes Feathers, Superfood and Honeyblood.

The second day of the festival (May 17) sees Temples, Wytches and Jacco Gardner at The Haunt. Merchandise will perform live as part of a late-night takeover of The Haunt on the Friday night alongside two mystery guests to be revealed closer to the day of gig. Last year Palma Violets, Peace and Milk Music all played intimate sets on the stage and this year will feature another impressive line-up with one NME cover band already confirmed for the late night show alongside Merchandise.

Finally, NME Radar brings the festival to a close on Saturday, May 18 at The Haunt with Parquet Courts, Deap Vally, Highasakite and The Orwells all playing live.
