'Life After Death From Above 1979' will be released on October 7

A new documentary about Death From Above 1979, detailing the Canadian duo’s 10 year career, is set to be released next month. Scroll down to watch a trailer now.

Life After Death From Above 1979 will be released via Vimeo On Demand on October 7 and will cover the band’s career, including their split and subsequent return at Coachella in 2011.

Directed by Eva Minchon, the film includes interviews with members of The Strokes, Justice, Metric and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The film tells the story up to the 2014 release of the band’s new album, ‘The Physical World’.

Death From Above 1979 will tour in October, including three dates in the UK.
