Death From Above 1979 reveal full album tracklist and tour dates

Canadian duo will play three UK dates in October

Death From Above 1979 have revealed the full tracklisting for their long-awaited second album ‘The Physical World’ – plus three UK dates as part of a world tour.

The Canadian duo yesterday unveiled new track ‘Trainwreck 1979’, which you can listen to now by clicking below.

The band will release the new album on September 8, just less than a decade after their debut and three years since reforming in 2011. Speaking to NME about the decision to make a new album, drummer Sebastien Grainger said: “The goodwill of reuniting doesn’t sustain you. People wanted more music and we wanted to provide it for them. It was that same, ‘Oh yeah, he writes these great riffs that I can write songs over’ feeling.”
