Death From Above 1979 duet with sign language interpreter at Lollapalooza

Sebastien Grainger performed finale of the show on the signing platform with interpreter

Death From Above 1979’s Sebastien Grainger performed an brief impromptu duet with a woman signing their show at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Saturday (August 6).

All main stage gigs at the annual festival have people translating the songs into sign language, but during ‘Romantic Rights’, the reformed duo’s drummer Grainger went down to the platform on which the female signer was performing the song and sang to her whilst she signed along with him, reports Spinner. After the song he said:

You looked lonely over there. If we had another drummer I’d come back, but I can’t… I’m staying at the Hard Rock, so look me up. I got a whole lotta signs, if you know what I’m saying, and none of them say ‘Stop’.
