Death In Vegas are set to release a brand new single on July 3 and will also repeat an Internet webcast of their London Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig from November.
The single, ‘One More Time’, was recorded after work on ‘The Contino Sessions’ had been completed. It has become a live favourite since the band began using it to close their sets. The single, to be released through Concrete Records, won’t chart, though. It is being released on collectable limited edition 10″ red vinyl only.
The webcast of the November 7 show (originally broadcast on nme.com) will run from June 16 – 18 on DIV‘s own website ([url=]www.death-in-vegas.co.uk). The show featured guest appearances from Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Dot Allison, Jesus and Mary Chain’s Jim Reid and the London Community Gospel Choir.
Death In Vegas have returned to the studio this week to work on the follow-up to ‘The Contino Sessions’. They will take time off this summer to get a little air playing some of the festivals including Glastonbury (June 23), T In The Park (July 9), V2000 (August 19, 20) and Creamfields (August 26).
