The artist was due to appear at the London event on August 2
Deptford Goth has cancelled his forthcoming appearance at Visions Festival in London.
The artist – who released his debut album ‘Life After Defo’ in 2013 – was due to appear at the event in London Fields, east London, on August 2, but a statement from the festival says that he will no longer be playing. “We regret to announce Deptford Goth has cancelled all upcoming dates including Visions. We will be announcing a couple of high profile acts next week in replacement. Stay tuned…,” said representatives of the event.
Meanwhile, Dirty Beaches and Alvvays were recently added to the line-up. Last month the all day event added a host of new acts, including Sophie, Alice Boman and Jaakko Eino Kalevi. Moon Gangs, IYES, Boneyards, Flamingods and Songhoy Blues are also new additions.
They join previously announced acts Poliça, Andrew WK, The Fat White Family, Perfect Pussy and Eagulls on the bill. See below to see a full list of all bands and artists performing at Visions. The multi-venue festival will take place across Oval Space, The Laundry, London Fields Brewhouse and New Empowering Church. Netil House Rooftop will also be used, complete with a rum shack, BBQ and hot tubs.
Tickets are still available, priced at £25, and are available via the Visions website.
