'I want to be part of it,' says singer about her pal's impending childbirth
Kelly Rowland has declared that she wants to be by Beyonce‘s side when she gives birth.
Rowland, who claimed she had been distraught when she’d had to watch another of her friends give birth on Skype because she couldn’t be there in person, said:
I wouldn’t miss the birth of Beyonce‘s baby. I can’t. I don’t want to miss those moments. It’s life happening to people that I love and I want to be a part of it.
Earlier this month, Rowland accidentally let slip the sex of Beyonce and her husband Jay-Z’s baby when she revealed that the couple were expecting a little girl.
Beyonce revealed she was pregnant in August during the MTV Video Music Awards, and was subsequently attacked by commentators who accused her of faking her entire pregnancy and claimed her baby bump was a prosthetic fake.
The singer later labelled the criticisms and conspiracy theories as “stupid, ridiculous and false”. Jay-Z meanwhile, recently confirmed that he would be a doting father and was “100 per cent” prepared to help change nappies.
