The star is frightened about travelling while the war on Iraq continues...

KELLY ROWLAND has cancelled her European tour because she’s frightened about travelling during the Iraq war.

The Destiny’s Child singer was due to come to the UK on April 13.

And Shakira has scrapped plans to perform in Lebanon and Libya, but her European tour will continue as planned.

The stars follow in the footsteps of Staind, who, as NME.COM reported last week, pulled a European promo tour when the war started and flew home.

The Elektra label announced last week that “due to the impending war in Iraq, Elektra Records have cancelled all international touring plans” for their artists. So far, little known Blindside are the only band to bow out, thoughMissy Elliott, Fabolous and [a][/a]

are all on Elektra in the US.

The longer the war continues, the more major name tours are likely to be pulled.
