The traumas within R&B supergroup Destiny’s Child continue with the news that another member has left.
Farrah Franklin‘s departure was announced in a brief statement from the group’s label, Columbia Records.
It read: “Destiny’s Child and Farrah Franklin have parted ways. The group will continue as a trio for the time being with original members Beyonci Knowles and Kelly Rowland and new member Michelle Williams.”
Franklin had only been with the four-piece for five months after she and Michelle Williams replaced LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson.
[url=]www.mtv.com quotes Franklin claiming to be exhausted and suffering from “dehydration and a stomach flu” hours before Destiny’s Child were due onstage for a recent show at George, Washington. She didn’t perform on the night and its unclear at present if she rejoined the band for any period afterwards.
The remaining three members are on their way to Australia for a promotional tour before a number of US dates with Christine Aguilera kicking off on July 31 in Bonner Springs, Kansas.
