'Emotion' is scheduled to be the third single from forthcoming album 'Survivor'...
DESTINY’S CHILD are to release their cover of a song penned by the BEE GEES as a single.
The song ‘Emotion’, penned by Barry and Maurice Gibb, was a hit for Australian singer Samantha Sang, who reached Number 11 with the track in the UK in February 1978.
Now it is scheduled to be the third single which will be taken from Destiny’s Child’s new album, ‘Survivor’, which is set for release in the US on May 1 and in the UK on April 30.
Destiny’s Child singer Beyonce Knowles told MTV that it was likely to follow the album’s title track and a song called ‘Bootylicious’ as a single.
“It’s an acoustic guitar and everybody has their verse and it is so great how the arrangement is and it’s just a great song. Thank you for writing that song, Bee Gees. Y’all is tight,” Knowles said.
The Texas trio jetted out from their Brit Awards performance in London on Monday (February 26) to take the stage at the Soul Train Awards at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium last night (February 28).
