King Krule, Thee Oh Sees, Darkstar and Mount Kimbie also confirmed for the bash
Liverpool Sound City have confirmed that Enter Shikari, Dexys and AlunaGeorge will appear at the festival later this year.
The latest batch of bands to be confirmed for the May event also include Thee Oh Sees, Mount Kimbie, Future Of The Left, King Krule, Darkstar, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Outfit. The acts will appear at various venues across Liverpool throughout the three day festival, which takes place between May 2-4. Enter Shikari will play a 14+ headline show with support coming from Marmozets, Hacktivist and Neck Deep while Dexys perform at the city’s Anglican Cathedral.
Bands previously confirmed for Liverpool Sound City this year include The Walkmen, Reverend and The Makers, Toy, Egyptian Hip-Hop, Theme Park, Swim Deep, Soley, Murkage, Fossil Collective, The 1975, Hawk Eyes, Amateur Best, The Family Rain, Mind Enterprises, Dan Croll and Brolin.
A limited number of three-day £30 wristbands will be available until Saturday, February 2 with the price increasing after that date. Full three-day delegate passes are available through the Liverpool sound city website priced £80. Speakers across the three day festival include Jon Morter, best known for being the man behind the campaign to get Rage Against The Machine to Number One at Christmas in 2009.
