The London rapper will play the stadium show on June 23

Dizzee Rascal has been announced as support to Red Hot Chili Peppers at their Knebworth Park stadium show on June 23.

Red Hot Chili Peppers also play Sunderland’s Stadium of Light on June 24. These dates follow their sold out arena tour of 2011 and will be the band’s only UK shows this year.

Dizzee Rascal has recently been added to the bill for this summer’s Benicassim festival in Spain, as well as being revealed as Snoop Dogg‘s replacement as headliner at this April’s Snowbombing festival in Austria.

Dizzee Rascal will also headline Splendour festival in Nottingham as well as Wakestock in Cardigan Bay in Abersoch, Wales.

He is set to release this fifth album – which he recorded in 2011 in Los Angeles – later this year.
