Film was directed by John MacLean, ex Beta Band members and brother of Django Django's Dave MacLean

Django Django have provided a new song to upcoming Michael Fassbender film Slow West. Hear the song below, now.

Slow West was directed by John MacLean, a former member of the Beta Band and brother of Django Django drummer Dave MacLean. The Western is his first feature film and stars Fassbender alongside Ben Mendelsohn and Kodi Smit-McPhee.

Composer Jed Kurzel provides the Slow West but director MacLean turned to his brother’s band for one song. Listen to the acoustic and instrumental ‘Slow West’ here.

Django Django recently announced details of four UK dates for the end of this year.

The band released their second album, ‘Born Under Saturn’, which has reached Number 15 in the UK album charts, in May. ‘Born Under Saturn’ was produced by drummer Dave Maclean and is the follow-up to their 2012 self-titled debut. Read the NME review.
