Mike Tyson sings Drake’s ‘Hotline Bling’ and gets the lyrics wrong – watch

Ex-boxer covered the song on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show'

Former boxer Mike Tyson covered Drake‘s hit single ‘Hotline Bling’ on US TV’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Tyson appeared on the American late-night talk show to promote the second season of his Adult Swim cartoon Mike Tyson Mysteries.

Appearing on the show on Monday night (October 26), host Fallon showed Tyson a recent meme posted on Instagram by The Roots’ Questlove. It included a photo of Mike Tyson with the lyrics to Drake’s song and the caption: “It’s never pop culture official until Mike puts his 2 thenths in”.

Responding to the meme, Tyson grabbed the microphone and started singing his own version of ‘Hotline Bling’ featuring the altered lyrics: “You used to call me on the cell phone/You wanted to be alone with me/You called me on the cell phone/For you to get the big bone on”.

‘Hotline Bling’ was originally released by Drake in July but has shot up the charts in recent weeks due to its newly released music video. It is currently at Number Four in the UK and Number Two in the US.

The video opens with a group of women in a call centre, before showing Drake dancing alone to a backdrop of bright lights.
