Grandmother accuses Drake of being ‘drunk or high’ after reading his lyrics – watch

Rapper's new track critiqued in hilarious clip

A video has been posted online of a grandmother reciting the lyrics of Drake and Future‘s track ‘Jumpman’.

The song in question features on the rappers’ recent collaborative mixtape ‘What A Time To Be Alive’. It includes lyrics such as, “Jumpman, Jumpman, Jumpman, fuck was you expecting?/Chi-town, Chi-town, Michael Jordan just said text me”.

Responding to the lyrics in a video posted to YouTube, the unnamed grandmother says, “This is not Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett… that’s Drake and the Future. Jesus Drake, I’m really ashamed of you, because I know you’re smart.”

She adds, “Give it up Drake.”

The mixtape was released as an Apple Music exclusive and debuted by Drake on his OVO Sound Radio show on Apple’s Beats 1 earlier this month (September 20).

“When you get around Future it’s like a vortex,” Drake said while presenting OVO Sound Radio. He went on to explain that he originally went to Future’s hometown of Atlanta to do “a few songs” but the collaboration grew into something more considerable. “It’s a little soundtrack for the people who need it right now,” the star added.

Drake and Future toured the US together earlier this year. Future’s most recent LP, ‘DS2’, which was released in July, featured Drake on ‘Where Ya At’. Meanwhile, Drake is believed to be working on new studio album ‘Views From The 6’, having already released solo mixtape ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ already in 2015.
